Our traditional mongolian yurt is ideal for couples, but also provides a comfortable space for a family of four with small children or group of friends. It’s lined with sheep-wool felt overlayed with silk and lashed together with horse hair ropes and set on a raised wooden platform with views across the rolling countryside.
The interior décor is a blend of Vintage and Shabby Chic, inspired by the colours and textures of the surrounding countryside. The soft furnishings, rugs and furniture provide a light, welcoming and relaxing space for you to enjoy, whilst the wood burning stove, fire guard and logs & small gas heater provide the warmth you need on those chilly evenings. Solar and lantern lighting is provided in addition to tea-lights and torches.
The fully enclosed under-cover area adjacent to the yurt, is equipped with a chimenea, kidling & logs, lighting, table & chairs & Charcoal BBQ – a perfect area for chatting, eating & drinking whatever the weather!
